El Rio, 2 camere da letto

This was our second visit to the apartamentos El Rio and we plan to return again next summer. Positive: Location was perfect for both the beach and bars / restaurants. Balcony was large with pleasant river valley views. No hills to negotiate.

13 nights as a family with two young children Positive: The biggest advantage is undoubtedly the location. You are literally just a few steps from the beach, and I honestly don’t think you can find a better location in Cala Galdana. The apartment is spacious, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook, which is extremely convenient when traveling with young children. There is also a lovely swimming pool on the third floor, an elevator serving all three floors, and parking available right in front of the building. Negative: Unfortunately, there is one major issue that affected us every single night: the unpleasant odors. There were strong smells coming from the sewage system, the nearby waste collection area (about 50 meters from the apartment), and the river in front of the property. Every night we had to keep the bathroom door closed, yet the smell still spread throughout the apartment. We understand that sewage odors can unfortunately be a more general issue in some parts of Spain and are not specific to Cala Galdana, but it was still extremely unpleasant, especially while on holiday. Cleanliness was also disappointing. The apartment had only been superficially cleaned before our arrival, and housekeeping was very minimal. During our 13-night stay, the staff came only twice to change the towels and clean the apartment, both times only after we requested it in writing, and each visit lasted no more than five minutes. Overall, I personally would not return because of the persistent odors and the level of cleanliness. However, if your top priority is being as close to the beach as possible, this is, without a doubt, one of the best locations in Cala Galdana.

Ubicación excelente , apartamento limpio y amplio . Punto negativo el ascensor Positive: Ubicación y parking propio , estaba limpio y el apartamento era amplio y servicial Negative: El ascensor se estropea seguido , y estando en una tercera planta con un carrito y un bebé.. pues bastante incómodo fue .
